This camp is available as a day-camp or an overnight camp (staying in the MSU dorms). Today's video games leverage modern hardware and software technology to create lush, interactive three-dimensional worlds. Level design is where the rubber meets the road in these modern video games. That is, level design is where the gameplay, storyline, art, and technology all come together to create the game world that the player experiences. This camp teaches students the process, tools, and techniques of 3D level design. Throughout the week, students work with the latest game development tools to build levels for their very own 3D game.
