This searchable database provides a list of state government commodity, service and information technology contracts as of Jan. 14, 2010, including the contractor's name, a description of the project, the state agency for which the work is being performed, the state's total cost and the contract's expiration date.

The database contains only active contracts, primarily over $25,000, negotiated by the state Department of Management and Budget's Purchasing Operations department for other state agencies. The database does not contain contracts negotiated by other state agencies, nor does it contain contracts awarded through delegated or legislative authority. The information comes from the state's complete contract list, which is published on the Buy Michigan First Web site.

Search tips
Listings are searchable by contractor, department or keyword in the description. When searching by contractor, you need only enter the first few letters of the contractor's name. Selecting a state department will display all current contracts for that department. When searching by description, you must enter at least four characters. Search terms with fewer than four characters, as well as terms that appear in more than 50 percent of the records, will be ignored. Any field may be left blank to display all records.
