MSU basketball: Who ya got?

Here at Lucas Oil Stadium in Indianapolis. It’s halftime of the matinee, with Louisville leading Oregon 45-31. MSU and Duke will begin the main event shortly afterward, around 9:45 p.m.

I expect the battle in the paint between Duke’s Ryan Kelly and Mason Plumlee and MSU’s Adreian Payne and Derrick Nix to determine who wins this one. All four big men talked about their respect for one another, and their styles match up pretty well for what should be a clash of titanic proportions.

What do you say?

Tom Izzo has taken our MSU Spartans to 16 NCAA tournaments in a row. Of these 16 appearances he has 11 sweet sixteen’s and 6 final fours. Let’s just take a moment and realize how incredible this is. How hard it is over this period to reach the final four one third of the time and in my opinion even a more difficult task to reach the Sweet 16 two thirds of the time. If our football team had been to 6 Rose Bowls, two BCS National Championship games and 11 January bowls in that time frame we would be erecting statues.

This is so rare and I am so proud of our program, this is a rare as what Clarence Munn did for MSU in the fifties but it is more sustained and over a longer period of time. I feel truly blessed to have this man, this warrior represent our University. So proud of this man, so proud of this team, so proud of this program

Thank you Tom Izzo from the bottom of my heart for what you have done on and off the court.

Silly little Cracker is now trying to drum up support for Paris Hilton. Does Cheese- it know nothing about true Spartans.
