Michigan-MSU hoops to have national spotlight

EAST LANSING — Michigan State is scheduled to be one of the stops for ESPN’s College GameDay this winter.
ESPN will have its college basketball show on campus Saturday, Jan. 25, 2014, in advance of the Spartans’ home game against rival Michigan – a matchup of teams expected to be among the nation’s best on the hardwood.

The show is scheduled to broadcast at 10 a.m. and 6 p.m., with the game slated to begin at 7 p.m.
College GameDay is in its 10th season. The eight-week road show is hosted by Rece Davis and features analysts Jay Bilas, Digger Phelps and Jalen Rose.
A special 30-minute edition of College GameDay will be aired Tuesday, Nov. 12, prior to the State Farm Champions Classic that features MSU vs. Kentucky (7:30 p.m.) and Kansas vs. Duke (9:30 p.m.).

The only one of those talking heads who has any credibility is Bilas.

Davis is a yes man to the ESPeeeN message of the week/month/season

Digger is all show and not real informative – he’s like the former IU assistant coach who takes one theme and beats it to death.

    Jalen is a drunk

Its good to be on game day though nice to beat Michigan on the national stage.
