We’re just under a month until national signing day for football prospects and Scout.com released its final player rankings for the 2013 class today.
Michigan State has four players rated among the top 300 players in the class, led by Erie Cathedral Prep quarterback Damion Terry. He is rated the 120th best player in the class in Scout’s updated rankings.
Other players verbally committed to MSU among the top 300 are Brother Rice linebacker Jon Reschke (142), Cincinnati Moeller linebacker Shane Jones (212) and Cass Tech offensive lineman Dennis Finley (255).
As a team, MSU is rated by Scout to have the No. 37 class nationally.
Here’s how the Spartans stack up in the Big Ten team rankings as of now.

Not bad, beat out Iowa again, Mark Dantonio consistently comes in around 35 but turns that talent into a team that is around 20-25. I think we will always be in the 20-30 range now that the program is established where Coach wants it to be.
Hopefully for MSU the key phrase is “as of now” “Coaching up” didn’t work out really well in 2012.
Folks, remember that these idiot recruiting rankings are bias heavily by the size of the class. The more recruits the better the class.
I just hear through my sources that Cheese-It ran his question and answer from his phone (get an iPhone Cracker, it comes with Siri) out of town because he saves $3 on his oil change.
From McMurphy: 8 of AP preseason Top 25 finished unranked: 1-USC, 10-Ark, 11-WVU, 12-Wisc, 13-Mich St, 16-Va Tech, 19-Ok St, 20-TCU
Tells you how much the voters in the AP know about college football – I know Cheese-it doesn’t have a vote, but given these clowns, he’d fit right in. Any question why the bcs championship game was such a blow out, Harris just copies the Coaches poll and we know that poll is soooo territorial and Paris Hilton – ish.
Rose Bowl is not longer a B1G destination bowl, it’s now part of the plus 1 semi’s.
After scoring 40 against Whiskey at home, Cobs put up 47 on Paris Hilton and finally lose by 15. Boy that PH D is stifling.
