Here is looking at the performances of some of MSU’s recruits over the weekend.
Most notably, quarterback Damion Terry reached a milestone while helping Erie Cathedral Prep to a victory Friday.
Terry, who is a part of MSU’s 2013 class, passed the 4,000-yard mark for his career by throwing for 265 yards and four touchdowns in a 48-22 win. Terry has thrown for a school record 4,177 yards in his career. He is the only Erie Cathedral prep to surpass the 4,000-yard mark.
Here’s a look at the performances of some of the other 2013 commits.
R.J. Shelton – Had 28 carries for 258 yards for 3 TDs in Beaver Dam’s 19-13 win over West Bend
Jay Harris – Had a 4-yard TD catch to lead Downingtown East (Pa.) to a 42-20 win over Roman Catholic
Dylan Chmura – Had a fumble recovery in Waukesha West’s 23-0 win
Darian Hicks – Returned a punt 78 yards for a touchdown in Solon’s 36-14 win over Akron Buchtel
Demetrius Cooper –Had eight tackles, a sack and a receiving touchdown in Chicago Julian’s loss
Shane Jones – Helped Cincinnati Moeller to 61-33 win over Detroit Catholic Central
And here is a look at how the 2014 MSU commits performed.
Drake Harris – Had four catches for 144 yards and two touchdowns in Grand Rapids Christian’s 43-0 win over Kenowa Hills
Byron Bullough – Had two fourth-quarter touchdowns on fourth-and-inches at the goal line to lead Traverse City St. Francis to 12-7 win over Elk Rapids. He had 18 carries for 52 yards.
