Spartan soccer scores locally

Williamston junior goalie Courtney Clem has verbally committed to Michigan State, joining Okemos standout junior midfielder Kelsey Mullen in what is shaping up already as a great future class for the Spartans.

As coaches and athletic directors begin building their soccer schedules for next fall, I'd really like to see strong Division 4 teams Lansing Christian and New Covenant Christian get more games against some of the area's bigger, better-known programs.
