In all seriousness, the Michigan State volleyball is hosting “PJammin with the Spartans” at this Friday’s home match against Northwestern, 6:30 p.m. at Jenison Field House.
Fans who show up in pajamas get in free. Coach Cathy George said the coaches will be in their pajamas, George coaching in a robe.
While it’s meant to be a fun event, the idea is to raise awareness and remind us of the many children who suffer from cancer.
The correlation with pajamas is that many children spend tons of hours in their PJs while fighting their disease. This is meant to bring that to mind.
The men’s basketball team’s midnight madness event is across the street at the Breslin Center beginning at 9:30.
