Branden Dawson is starting at power forward.
Nicholls State is undersized and greatly undermanned. The Colonels are without their best player, it turns out, 22-point scorer Fred Hunter, with an undisclosed injury.
They are already missing 12-point scorer Dantrell Thomas (eligibility).
