BRESLIN CENTER — Nicholls State is missing its top two players and is completely outclassed here this afternoon, trailing 37-13 at the break.
The Colonels have 15 first-half turnovers, many forced by MSU. This is similar to if Lansing Community College showed up and played instead. Nicholls State is essentially a top 10 juco team.
Denzel Valentine leading the way with nine points, three assists, three steals and no turnovers.
MSU could use a game like this. Not great for the fans, but good for recovering your legs after five games in 11 days.
