EAST LANSING — Undoubtedly, the halftime show has been the most entertaining part of the evening at Breslin tonight.
MSU trails Minnesota 20-18, having shot 24 percent in the first half. But … the group of miniature Harlem Globetrotters on the court right now (a bunch of kids, the Alexandrea Aces) are unbelievable.
As for the game, MSU looks out of sorts on offense. Some of this is because Gary Harris clearly isn’t 100 percent. He wasn’t moving as well as usual early and then seemed to turn an ankle, to go with his back spasms.
Minnesota hasn’t been much better. It’s been a physical game. Maybe too physical. Lot of stuff both ways going uncalled.
MSU needs this one. It can’t lose at home. Has to find a way to grind it out and deal with tomorrow, tomorrow.
