CORAL GABLES — Michigan State will be at full strength tonight, to some extent at least, for the first time since its season opener in Germany.
Guards Gary Harris (shoulder sprain) and Travis Trice (concussion, broken nose) are both expected to play against Miami here at the BankUnited Center. To what extent, it’s unclear.
Harris has been out since injuring his left shoulder in the first minute of MSU’s win over Boise State eight days ago.
Trice took a blow to the bridge of his nose early in the second half Nov. 9 against UConn at the Ramstein Air Base in Germany.
In their absence, especially minus Harris, the Spartans have struggled, winning, but barely, against Boise State, Oakland and Louisiana Lafayette.
Coach Tom Izzo can now begin the process of truly developing a rotation and roles over the next month heading into Big Ten play.
I still like Miami tonight. But certainly MSU becomes a better team with this news.
Talk to you at halftime.

Appreciate it. Not supposed to be a game thread. Headline is a little misleading. Pregame, Halftime and postgame analysis and updates is the plan. But comments are more than welcome.
