SCOTTSDALE, Ariz. — Both MSU coach Mark Dantonio and TCU’s Gary Patterson had their final pre-Buffalo Wild Wings Bowl press conferences today. Below is some of what was said by Dantonio, who talked about several of his emerging younger players throughout bowl prep, fixing MSU’s offense and the similarities and differences between TCU and MSU.
Then Joe Rexrode and I stood in front of a cactus and broke it all down.
Enjoy.

I don’t expect a lot of points. It’ll be a sloppy game offensively, mostly because the two defenses will be so stifling. Dantonio will get Bell and the running game going just enough early to get a lead, and then we will hang on as the defense holds firm time and again. It’ll be an entertaining, gripping game for a full four quarters.
Friday Prediction: Michigan State 20 … TCU 16
Thanks for the prediction. Not that different than mine, but flipped. I’ll do a reader predictions post tomorrow morning, too.
Couch picked against MSU ? What a shocker !
I picked them more often than not this year, and was usually wrong. Kept thinking the offense would improve slightly.
Damn Couch, you should have picked against them more often !
2 great defenses vs. 2 lousy offenses. MSU 55 – tcu 50
Nice interview Graham. You and Joe make a pretty good team. Both of you do a good “straight man”. Work on your tans while in the desert.
I have hope for the future of our offense but I think it’s going to be another painful one to watch. Maybe Maxwell running can help. He seems to throw better when he moves. Let’s lean on the Dee again and pray for some O.
Go Green!!!
GO WHITE!!!!
Thanks Sparty in LA.
